Basic Science Department
The department of Basic Sciences is the first step of the ladder to a successful career for an
engineering graduate. It smoothens the way for students of 10+2 level to learn technical subjects of engineering.
The department provides the following facilities to the students.
1. A well trained experienced and dedicated teaching staff who monitor the academic
progress of the students throughout the academic year and provides personal care &
moral support.
2. There are big classrooms which are ventilated and well lighted creating a conducive
atmosphere for learning.
3. There are two laboratories, one for Engg physics and the other Engg chemistry. Both the
labs are well equipped with the latest equipments according to the syllabus prescribed
by VTU. Both labs are big enough to accommodate more than 40 students. The teacher
student ratio of learning is 1:20.
4. There is a small library with reference books for teachers 7 students.
We of the First year try to create a homely atmosphere only for this one academic year.
We form the welcome committee to the engineering students.
