Introduction

Secab P. U. College for Women is one of the premier colleges in the Bijapur district. Established in the year 1972 it has been imparting education at +2 levels in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational Education. Since inception it is striving for imparting quality education. As a result many students have been joining professional education and the college has produced good number of doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers and officers. They have occupied better status in society. Result of the college in public examination every year is higher than that of the state result. Performance of students in CET is also worth appreciating.

The Department of Pre-University Education, Bangalore, has accredited the college with “A” grade, taking into account the better infrastructure facilities and the commitment of the institution in providing effective & quality education. This is made possible due to the consistent support of the Management and the Department.

Significance of +2 Educations

+2 Educations is a bridge course. After crossing the bridge new avenues are opened for different professional courses. Therefore, it is a very crucial period in one’s life. The growth & development achieved, experiences gained, the responsibilities felt and the relationships developed at this stage distinct the complete future of an individual. At this stage, an individual is extremely critical but experience will prove that they are amenable to reasoning. They well come discussion and feel very happy if they are asked to help or give their views. Hence, it is advisable that parents should be reasonably lenient and to be friendly in dealing with their problems.

Simplicity and sincerity, friendly attitude however works wonder with these young people hence the parent and the teacher together must make feel that they are really interested in their integrated development.
