The Luqman Medical college (unani system) is the 2nd Unani medical college, established in the Karnataka State. It was established in the year 1996-97. The college is located in the Karadi gardens, of Naubag in the centre of the city.

Objective of the College:

• Preparing students in both Unani and Allopathic system of medicine.
• Providing the people of Bijapur a reliable hospital where approriate and effective medicine at affordable costs are available.
• Starting a research centre for promoting Unani system, specially for chronic diseases.
