SECAB’S Association Luqman Unani Medical college and hospital, Bijapur, Affiliated CCIM New Delhi and affiliated to RGUHS, Bangalore, Karnataka. The institute has adequate building and other infrastructure facilities located in the heart of the city. This College is the 2nd Unani medical college, established in the Karnataka State. It was established in the year 1996-97. The college building and campus present a pleasing environment. The institute has well qualified and experienced faculty members, spacious lecture hall, well equipped laboratories, library, Departments and Hospital.

Aims & Objective:

• Preparing students in both Unani and Allopathic system of medicine.


• Providing the people of Bijapur a reliable hospital where appropriate and effective medicine at affordable costs are available.


• Starting a research centre for promoting Unani system. Especially for chronic diseases.

College Afford:

BUMS courses (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) is a regular course of 4 ½ years duration with 1 year internship shall be eligible for award of BUMS degree. After completion of the course the young doctors are eligible for appointment in state/ central jobs/ can do self employment.
