BA – Bachelor of Art – 3 Years (6 semesters)

• English (basic) – compulsory
• Any one of the following languages – Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Sanskrit, Additional English.
• Optional Subjects (choosing any three subjects) English, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Elements of Maths and Stat, Education, Geography, Library and Information Science, Functional English, Kannada, Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi and Home Science.

B.Sc – Bachelor of Science – 3 Years (6 semesters)

English (basic) – compulsory
Any one of the following languages – Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Sanskrit, Additional English.
• Optional subjects (choosing any three subjects)
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • Chemistry, Botany, Zoology
  • Botany, Zoology, Home Science

Apart from the above the students will have to study the subjects (Indian constitution, Environmental studies and Human rights, Communicative English, Personality Development) compulsorily as per the guidelines of the Karnataka State Women’s University Bijapur.

Teachers Training Programme:

There is an acute scarcity of competent teachers to teach English and Social sciences in English. Considering this problem, the college has a special training programme to train the students to train to become resourceful teachers to teach English language, History, Geography in primary and high schools.
