On 19th October 2000 His Excellency Mahmood-bin-Muhammed

wrote.

Mahmood-bin-Muhammed presenting Life Time Acheivement
Award to Sri Padmakar P. Apte of Times of India
at a function organised by SECAB in felicitation
of Press people of repute of Bijapur.
"......THE SECAB Association Bijapur
is doing exemplary work in the field of education
..... Right from the Inception the Institutions
have steadily grown strenght to strenght, thanks
to dedication and commitment of a creative minority
headed by Mr.Shamsuddin Punekar, a shining example
of good leadership, leading all the way, always
a step in front.
I was greatly impressed by what I saw and
heard during the visit........... I was particularly
impressed by histrionic talents of the young
students in several languages, their keen and
almost contagious enthusiasm and very high standard
of discipline. The SECAB Institutions appear
to have been a non stop success story......
I am glad to be able to say that they have already
gained public recognition......"
