As Bijapur has two medical colleges, two Engineering Colleges, one Architecture college and four medical colleges of Indian system of medicines a Dental and a nursing college and four Polytechnics. There is also a P.G. Centre of Karnataka University Dharwad and Visveswaraiah Technological University is only 6 hours distance from Bijapur.
