SECAB INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, BIJAPURE PRESS REPORT

• Sub: “Environment Awareness for Protection” programme and Inauguration of Environment Protection Cell SIET on 10th Jan 2012.

Staff & students of SECAB Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bijapur organized the programme for which Er. S. R. Hiremath, Co-founder, Samaj Parivartana Samudaya Dharwad and President of National Committee for protection of Natural Resources, India was the Chief Guest to address this programme. Participants were students, staffs and prominent citizens of Bijapur. He also inaugurated Environment Protection cell SIET, and planted a tree sapling in remembrance of the event. Dr. Riyaz Farooqui, Director, SECAB Association, Honorable Secretary Mr. A. S. Patil, Principals of SECAB Institute of Engineering & Technology, Malik Sandal Institute of Art & Architecture and Malik Sandal Polytechnic were present to welcome the Chief guest and dignitaries of Bijapur city. The programme motivated students to work for betterment and improvement of Environment and its protection both from Social and Technological aspects of the society. Er. Hiremath in his address invites youth to join hands and work for this cause and assured his life-time co-operation in efforts for up-liftment of society
